Co-Owner & Psychotherapist
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, chronic illness, and life transitions that feel overwhelming, isolating, or hard to put into words.
Many of Sarah’s clients come in used to being “the strong one.” They’re thoughtful, self-aware, and often carrying more than people realize. They may be managing chronic illness, complex trauma, attachment-based wounds or long-standing patterns of putting themselves last and are exhausted from doing it alone.
Sarah’s approach is relational, honest, and deeply attuned. Clients often describe her as warm and easy to talk to, while also being direct in a way that helps things actually shift. She prioritizes building a strong therapeutic relationship where you don’t have to over-explain, perform, or stay in “therapist mode” to be understood.
She integrates creativity, humor, and body-aware work into sessions, especially for clients who feel stuck in traditional talk therapy or disconnected from their bodies due to trauma or medical experiences. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and that therapy can be both grounding and transformative.
Sarah has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), DBT, IFS, Medical Play Therapy, and creative interventions. She is LGBTQ+ affirming and practices with cultural awareness and humility.
